The Si595 VCXO utilizes an advanced DSPLL circuit to deliver high-frequency, low-jitter clocks. The device provides output frequencies at any rate from 10 MHz to 810 MHz. Unlike conventional VCXOs, which require a different crystal for each output frequency, the Si595 uses a single fixed crystal to support a wide range of output frequencies. This IC-based approach leverages a crystal resonator to provide frequency stability and reliability. In addition, DSPLL clock synthesis offers power supply noise rejection, simplifying the task of generating low-jitter clocks in noisy environments. The Si595 IC-based VCXO is factory-configurable to a variety of user specifications, including frequency, supply voltage, output format, tuning slope, and absolute pull range (APR). Specific configurations are programmed at the factory, eliminating the long lead times associated with custom oscillators.
