The TPS3851 combines a high-accuracy voltage monitor with a programmable watchdog timer. The TPS3851 comparator achieves 0.8% accuracy at the VDD pin (−40°C to +125°C) for the undervoltage (VITN) threshold. The TPS3851 also features high-accuracy hysteresis relative to the undervoltage threshold, making it an ideal choice for tight-tolerance systems. The monitor's RESET delay offers a highly precise delay time with 15% accuracy.

The TPS3851 includes a programmable window watchdog timer suitable for a wide range of applications. A dedicated watchdog output (WDO) improves resolution, helping to identify the root cause of fault conditions. The watchdog timeout can be programmed via an external capacitor or configured with a factory-programmed default delay. The watchdog can be disabled via a logic pin to prevent unintended watchdog timeouts during development.

The TPS3851 is available in a compact 3.00mm×3.00mm 8-pin VSON package.
