The XL-MaxSonar-WR and XL-MaxSonar-WRC sensor series provide users with reliable distance information in air. These sensors feature high-power acoustic output with real-time automatic sensitivity adjustment for changing conditions (supply voltage drop, acoustic noise, or electrical noise), operate over a supply voltage range of 3V to 5.5V, and can detect objects from 0cm to 765cm (select models) or 1068cm (select models). Sonar distance readings range from 20cm to 765cm (select models) or 1068cm (select models) with 1cm resolution. Objects within 0cm to 20cm are reported as 20cm or closer. The sensors feature a rugged PVC housing rated to IP67, compatible with standard electrical/water 3/4 PVC fittings. User interface formats include pulse width (select models), real-time analog voltage envelope (select models), analog voltage output, and serial output.
