SANKEN SI-8205NHD

SI-8205NHD is a synchronous rectification chopper regulator IC with built-in power MOS. Due to its current control architecture, it is suitable for ultra-low ESR capacitors such as ceramic capacitors. It features multiple protection functions including overcurrent protection, low-input inhibit, and thermal protection. A soft-start function is provided to protect the IC from inrush current during startup. The soft-start time can be set by connecting an external capacitor, and the switching frequency can also be set by connecting an external capacitor. This device is housed in a compact, low-profile HOSP 8-pin package with a heatsink pad on the back.
