The mXT144U 1.0 uses a unique charge transfer acquisition engine to implement Microchip's patented capacitive sensing method. Combined with an advanced CPU, the complete touchscreen sensing solution can measure, classify, and track multiple independent finger touch points with high accuracy in minimal response time. The mXT144U 1.0 supports both mutual capacitance and self-capacitance measurements, where self-capacitance measurements are used to augment mutual capacitance measurements to produce reliable touch information.
