The GX-300 Series are built-in amplifier / DC 3-wire cylindrical inductive proximity sensors — a standard cylindrical inductive proximity sensor type with enhanced fundamental performance.

• The GX-303S achieves high-speed response at 5 kHz, while other models in the series offer up to 4× higher response frequency compared to conventional models, enabling faster switching decisions and supporting high-speed applications to help reduce equipment cycle time.
• M8/M12/M18/M30 threaded sensors are available in standard sensing range or long sensing range versions (model number ending in "K"), with the long sensing range providing sufficient performance margin for reliable detection.
• Even when the distance to the sensing object varies due to equipment vibration, long sensing range models reduce the risk of collision or sensing errors.
• The GX-300 Series keeps maximum operating distance variation within ±10% (versus ±15% for the previous GX series); maximum operating distance variation for ø3/ø4/ø5.4 mm (ø0.118/ø0.157/ø0.213 in) and M5/M8 threaded models is also reduced compared to conventional models.
• Significantly improved indicator visibility makes it easier to verify settings and operation. Small-diameter models have a depth of 25.1 mm (0.988 in) versus 30 mm (1.181 in) for conventional models (27.1 mm / 1.067 in for the GX-303S), enabling installation in tighter spaces.
• The series offers 310 sensor models across multiple types, including cable type (2 m or 5 m cable lengths), connector type, and pigtail type, as well as a flex-resistant cable type for mounting on moving parts.
• IO-Link is supported only on M8/M12/M18/M30 threaded, PNP output, normally open models. IO-Link-compatible sensors can also be used as standard sensors (PNP output type). When connected to an IO-Link master, they transmit not only switching signals but also bidirectional sensor level information and operating mode switching data, enabling manufacturing operation visualization and IoT integration.
