The CY7C1019D is a high-performance CMOS static RAM organized as 131,072 words × 8 bits. Easy memory expansion is provided through active-LOW chip enable, active-LOW output enable, and three-state drivers. The device features an automatic power-down function that significantly reduces power consumption when deselected. The eight I/O pins are placed in a high-impedance state when the device is deselected, output is disabled, or a write operation is active. The device is written by pulling both the chip enable and write enable inputs LOW, and data is written to the location specified by the address pins. The device is read by pulling both chip enable and output enable LOW while forcing write enable HIGH; the contents of the memory location specified by the address pins appear on the I/O pins. This device is suitable for interfacing with processors that have TTL input levels and is not intended for processors requiring CMOS input levels.
