Beschreibung
The TSOP93... series devices are the latest generation of miniaturized IR receiver modules for infrared remote control systems. These series offer improvements in sensitivity to remote control signals in dark environments and in the presence of optical interference (e.g., from compact fluorescent lamps).
These devices consist of a PIN diode and a preamplifier assembled on a lead frame. An infrared filter is integrated within the epoxy package. The demodulated output signal can be directly connected to a microprocessor for decoding.
The TSOP931.., TSOP933.., and TSOP935.. series devices are designed to receive short pulse codes (each pulse containing 6 or more carrier cycles). The third digit indicates the AGC level (AGC1, AGC3, or AGC5), and the last two digits indicate the bandpass frequency (see table below). A higher AGC provides better noise suppression but lower code compatibility. AGC3 provides enhanced noise suppression, and AGC5 provides maximum noise suppression. In general, it is recommended to select the highest AGC that satisfactorily receives the required remote control codes.
