Descrizione
The DS6521 series is a highly integrated linear charger component for lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries, designed for portable electronic applications where space is constrained. Battery charging proceeds in three stages: conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage. Throughout all charging stages, an internal control loop monitors the charger temperature and reduces the charging current when the internal temperature threshold is exceeded.
The charger integrates power components with programmable charging current capability, featuring high-accuracy current and voltage regulation loops, charge status indication, and charge termination functionality.
The fast-charge current can be programmed via an external resistor.
