Broadcom HCPL-061A-060E

Broadcom HCPL-261A series optocoupled gates offer all the advantages of the industry-standard 6N137 series, with the addition of HCMOS-compatible input current. This allows direct interfacing with all common circuit topologies without the need for additional LED buffers or driver components. The Al-GaAs LED employed utilizes the latest LED technology, enabling lower drive current and reduced performance degradation. In single-channel devices, an enable output allows gating of the detector. The detector IC output is an open-collector Schottky-clamped transistor. Internal shielding provides the HCPL-261A series with a minimum common-mode transient immunity of 1000V/μs, and the HCPL-261N series with 15000V/μs. A 0.1μF bypass capacitor is required between pins 5 and 8.
