Descrizione
This device is an enhanced insulation-isolated half-duplex RS-485 transceiver with a high electrical isolation rating, designed to meet the demands of harsh industrial applications. Isolation between the internal logic input and output buffers is achieved through a silicon dioxide (SiO₂) insulating barrier, capable of withstanding electrical isolation strength up to 7500V_RMS (for 1 minute) and delivering typical CMTI performance of ±150kV/μs. The insulating barrier blocks ground loops between the logic side and bus side, helping to reduce interference between ports with high ground potential differences and ensuring correct data transmission. The device supports multi-node data communication buses with a maximum communication rate of 500kbps and allows up to 256 transceivers on the same bus. As a half-duplex transceiver, the transmit/receive state is controlled via the receiver enable and transmitter enable pins to prevent bus contention. The device comes in a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package with creepage distance and clearance ≥15mm, supporting an operating temperature range of -40℃ to 125℃.
