Beschreibung
KEMET's ESD-rated commercial and automotive-grade COG dielectric SMT capacitors are designed for applications where ESD events during assembly or operation may damage capacitors or circuits. These ESD-rated capacitors can be designed within given ESD standards per the HBM AEC Q200-002 standard. KEMET automotive-grade capacitors also meet other stringent AEC-Q200 qualification requirements from the Automotive Electronics Council.
COG dielectric has a maximum operating temperature of 125℃ and is considered "stable." The EIA classifies COG dielectric as a Class I material. These components feature temperature-compensating characteristics, making them suitable for resonant circuit applications and where stability of Q and capacitance is required. COG dielectric exhibits no change in capacitance over time or voltage, with negligible capacitance variation compared to values at 25℃, and capacitance change limited to ±30ppm/℃ over the -55℃ to +125℃ range.
