Beschreibung
This series comprises 8-ampere high-temperature AC switching thyristors designed for AC switching and phase control applications, such as motor speed and temperature modulation control, lighting control, and static switching relays. Sensitive devices guarantee gate control in the first and fourth quadrants required by digital control circuits. AC switch devices operate only in the first, second, and third quadrants, suitable for circuits requiring high dV/dt immunity. Standard devices are typically triggered by AC lines and operate in the first and third quadrants.

- Surge capability up to 100A over a 60Hz half-cycle
- Solid-state switching eliminates arcing and contact bounce that generate voltage transients

- UL 1557 recognized as an electrically isolated semiconductor device
