Opis
This series of 6A high-temperature AC switch TRIAC solid-state switches is designed for AC switching and phase control applications, such as motor speed control and temperature modulation control, lighting control, and static switching relays. Sensitive-gate devices guarantee gate triggering in quadrants I and IV to meet the requirements of digital control circuits. AC switch devices operate only in quadrants I, II, and III, suitable for circuits requiring high dv/dt capability. Standard devices typically operate in quadrants I and III, triggered by AC line signals.

- Voltage capability up to 800V
- Surge capability up to 80A during a 60Hz half-cycle
- Solid-state switching eliminates arcing and contact bounce that cause voltage transients
- No contact wear, immune to effects of switching events
- Limited (or restricted) RFI generation, depending on sine wave trigger point
- Only a brief gate trigger pulse required per half-cycle
- UL 1557 certified electrically isolated semiconductor device
