Beschreibung
This series of high-reliability plastic-encapsulated TVS diodes, designed for through-hole mounting, incorporates a series-connected reverse rectifier diode element. This enables it to provide very low capacitance of less than 100 pF to the protected system. The working cutoff voltage V_WM ranges from 6.5 to 170 volts, and RoHS-compliant versions are available. The low capacitance of these devices makes them particularly suitable for protecting lines carrying high-frequency signals. They can also be used to protect against the secondary effects of lightning strikes per IEC61000-4-5. Where bidirectional transient capability is required, two of these low-capacitance TVS devices can be connected in parallel with opposite polarity (anti-parallel) to achieve full AC protection. They also provide protection against ESD and EFT per IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4.
