The RP604x is a buck-boost converter featuring ultra-low quiescent current and high efficiency at light loads. The quiescent current is very low (IQ = 0.3 μA) to maximize battery life in intermittently operated battery-powered devices. The low supply current (0.3 μA) extends battery life and reduces battery size. It supports a wide input voltage range (1.8 V to 5.5 V), compatible with various battery types from coin cells to USB ports. The output voltage is adjustable from 1.6 V to 5.2 V in 0.1 V steps with ±1.5% accuracy. Maximum output current in buck mode is 300 mA. The RP604Z integrated driver on-resistance (VIN = 3.6 V) is typically 0.12 Ω for both PMOS and NMOS. Standby current is 0.01 μA. Protection features include UVLO, overvoltage protection, Lx peak current limiting, and thermal shutdown. Auto-discharge and preset output voltage (VSET) are user-selectable options. The RP604x is available in two package options: WLCSP-20-P2 (1.71 x 2.315 x 0.40 mm) and DFN(PLP)2730-12 (2.70 x 3.00 x 0.6 mm).
