Luminus Chip-on-Board (COB) Salud Series LEDs are specifically engineered to deliver high melanopic/photopic (M/P) ratio performance for more human-centric lighting. These carefully designed devices provide up to 2x M/P ratio at the warmest color temperatures, while maintaining CRI >90 and R9 values exceeding 85 — in many cases above 90 — across all configurations. Luminus COB LEDs are among the most reliable light sources in the world today. Luminus COB arrays are tested to ANSI/UL 8750 to ensure safe operation in intended applications, and are compliant with REACH and RoHS standards. Every Luminus LED undergoes comprehensive testing to ensure it meets the high-quality standards customers expect from Luminus products. Each Luminus COB LED is marked with a 2D barcode containing a unique serial number, providing actual test data measurements for the specific LED and enabling full traceability of the manufacturing process and materials. Products are measured at a junction temperature of 85°C, eliminating the need to adjust datasheet specifications to real-world application conditions. Chromaticity binning ensures color consistency across each order, with standard products binned to 3-step MacAdam ellipses to guarantee color performance matching in the application.
