The BCM4414xD1E13A3yzz is a high-efficiency bus converter in a VIA package, operating from a 260 ~ 410 VDC high-voltage bus to deliver an isolated, unregulated 8.1 ~ 12.8 VDC low-voltage output. This uniquely ultra-thin module integrates DC-DC conversion, integrated filtering, and PMBus command and control functionality, available in chassis or PCB mount configurations. The bus converter module features low noise, fast transient response, and industry-leading efficiency and power density. A low-side referenced, PMBus-compatible telemetry and control interface provides access to module configuration, fault monitoring, and other telemetry functions. Leveraging the thermal performance and density advantages of Vicor VIA package technology, the module offers flexible thermal management options with ultra-low top-side and bottom-side thermal impedance. Combined with Vicor downstream DC-DC conversion components and regulators, this module enables power design engineers to adopt simple, low-profile designs that differentiate end systems without compromising cost or performance metrics.
