Beschreibung
The TI MSP430 series of ultra-low-power microcontrollers comes in a wide variety, and each member device is equipped with different peripheral sets to meet the requirements of various applications. This architecture, when used in conjunction with five low-power modes, is the optimal choice for extending battery life in portable measurement applications. The device features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU that uses 16-bit registers and a constant generator to achieve maximum coding efficiency. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) can wake up from a low-power mode to an active mode in 3µs (typical). The MSP430F643x devices are microcontrollers equipped with the following peripherals: an integrated 3.3V low-dropout regulator (LDO), a high-performance 12-bit ADC, a comparator, two USCI, a hardware multiplier, DMA, four 16-bit timers, an RTC module with an alarm function, an LCD driver, and up to 74 I/O pins.
