Opis
The ATGBICS® AFBR-79EIDZ-SF1-C is a parallel 40Gb/s Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP) optical transceiver module designed to increase port density and reduce overall system cost. This QSFP full-duplex optical module provides 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each capable of operating at 10Gb/s, delivering a total bandwidth of 40Gb/s with a reach of up to 70m over OM3 MMF and up to 150m over OM4 MMF. A fiber ribbon cable with MPO/MTP connectors at both ends plugs into the QSFP module receptacle. The ribbon cable orientation is "keyed," with guide pins inside the module receptacle to ensure proper alignment. The cable is typically non-twisted (key-up to key-up) to ensure correct channel-to-channel alignment. Electrical connection is achieved through a pluggable 38-pin IPASS® connector. The module operates from a single +3.3V supply and provides LVCMOS/LVTTL global control signals such as module present, reset, interrupt, and low-power mode. A two-wire serial interface is available for transmitting and receiving more complex control signals and accessing digital diagnostic information. Individual channels can be addressed, and unused channels can be disabled for maximum design flexibility. The form factor, optical/electrical connections, and digital diagnostic interface of the AFBR-79EIDZ-SF1-C are all designed in accordance with the QSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). It is designed to withstand the most severe external operating conditions, including temperature, humidity, and EMI. The module features a very high level of functionality and feature integration, accessible via the two-wire serial interface.
