Beschreibung
KEMET Aluminum Organic Capacitors (AO-CAP) are solid-state aluminum capacitors. The cathode uses a conductive organic polymer, which provides extremely low ESR and better capacitance retention at high frequencies. AO-CAPs can operate at up to 100% of rated voltage under steady-state conditions with no derating required.
With no liquid electrolyte, the A700 features long service life, low ESR, and high operating temperature. The inherently low ESR makes the A700 well-suited for handling high ripple currents. The combination of small package size, high ripple current capability, high operating temperature, low parasitics, and high capacitance makes the A700 ideal for decoupling designs in high-performance microprocessors, FPGAs, and ASICs.
