Beschreibung
The ALS31300 3DMAG™ position sensor IC provides 12-bit digital values corresponding to the measured magnetic field along the X, Y, and Z axes. The sensor IC is preconfigured for 3D sensing applications, including front-side linear motion, sliding position sensing, and rotational angle measurement. The ALS31300 also features a joystick mode with a low-gain option for the Z-axis channel. This feature supports the use of a back-bias magnet to provide a centering force, replacing traditional spring solutions. The ALS31300 offers three factory-programmed sensitivity ranges: ±500G, ±1000G, and ±2000G. The I²C address can be set via an external resistor (16 unique addresses) or programmed into EEPROM via I²C (127 unique addresses), allowing multiple devices on the same bus. Additionally, the ALS31300 includes 78 bits of user EEPROM. The sensor's power management is highly configurable for system-level supply current and performance optimization. Sleep mode draws only 14nA (typical), making it ideal for portable battery-powered applications. The ALS31300 is available in a 3mm×3mm×0.8mm, 10-pin DFN package ("EJ"). This compact package is lead-free (Pb-free) with 100% matte tin-plated leadframe.
