The EW3Z0000585-C transceiver is an ultra-compact 10Gb/s optical transceiver module for 10Gb/s serial optical communication applications. The EW3Z0000585-C converts 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams to 10Gb/s optical output signals, and converts 10Gb/s optical input signals to 10Gb/s serial electrical data streams. The high-speed 10Gb/s electrical interface is fully compliant with the SFI specification.

High-performance 850nm VCSEL transmitter and high-sensitivity PIN receiver deliver excellent performance for Ethernet applications over links up to 300m.

The SFP+ module complies with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-SR standards. Digital diagnostic functionality is accessible via a 2-wire serial interface, conforming to SFF-8472 specification. The fully SFP-compliant form factor provides hot-plug capability, facilitates optical port upgrades, and offers low EMI emissions.
