Opis
MSP430FR231x FRAM microcontroller (MCU) belongs to the MSP430™ MCU value series detection series. These devices integrate a configurable low-leakage transimpedance amplifier (TIA) and a general-purpose operational amplifier. The MCU has a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and a constant generator, which helps to achieve maximum coding efficiency. The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) also allows the device to wake up from a low-power mode to an active mode in less than 10µs. The feature set of these MCUs is well-suited for a variety of applications from smoke detectors to portable medical and fitness accessories.
The ultra-low-power MSP430FR231x MCU series includes a variety of devices equipped with embedded non-volatile FRAM and different peripheral sets, suitable for digital input Class D audio amplifiers in various detection and measurement applications. The architecture, FRAM, and peripherals combined with multiple low-power modes are optimized for extending battery life in portable wireless sensing applications. FRAM is a non-volatile memory technology that combines the speed, flexibility, and durability of SRAM with the stability and reliability of flash memory, and has lower overall power consumption.
The MSP430FR231x MCU is supported by an ecosystem of various software and hardware resources, and comes with reference designs and code examples to help you quickly start your design. Development kits include the MSP-EXP430FR2311 LaunchPad™ development kit and the MSP-TS430PW20 20-pin target development board. TI offers free MSP430Ware™ software as a component of the Code Composer Studio™ IDE desktop and cloud versions (located in the TI Resource Explorer). The MSP430 MCU also provides extensive online support materials, training, and online support through the E2E™ community forum.
