Opis

Tłumaczenie AI

onsemi's AR0140AT is a 1/4-inch CMOS digital image sensor with an active-pixel array size of 1280H x 800V. It can capture images in linear or high dynamic range mode using a rolling shutter readout. It features sophisticated camera functions such as pixel binning, windowing, and video and single-frame modes. The sensor is designed for low-light and high dynamic range scene performance and can be programmed through a simple two-wire serial interface. The AR0140AT produces extremely clear, sharp digital images, and its ability to capture continuous video and single frames makes it ideal for a wide range of applications including surveillance and HD video.

The AR0140AT can operate in default mode or be programmed for frame size, exposure, gain, and other parameters. The default mode outputs 720p resolution images at 60 frames per second (fps). In linear mode, it outputs 12-bit raw data via parallel or serial (HiSPI) output ports. In high dynamic range mode, it outputs 12-bit compressed data via the parallel output port. In HiSPI mode, 12-bit or 14-bit compressed data or 16-bit linearized data can be output. The device can operate in video (master) mode or single-frame trigger mode.

FRAME_VALID and LINE_VALID signals are output on dedicated pins, along with a synchronized pixel clock in parallel mode.

The AR0140AT also features additional functions for application-specific tuning: windowing and offset, auto black level correction, and an on-board temperature sensor. Optional register data and histogram statistics can be embedded in the first and last two rows of an image frame.

The sensor is designed to operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.

The AR0140AT is a progressive scan sensor that generates a pixel data stream at a constant frame rate. It uses an on-chip PLL, which can be optionally enabled to generate all internal clocks from a single master input clock running between 6 and 50MHz. The maximum output pixel rate is 148.5Mp/s, corresponding to a clock rate of 74.25MHz. Users interact with the sensor via a two-wire serial bus that communicates with the array control, analog signal chain, and digital signal chain. At the core of the sensor is a 1.1-megapixel active-pixel sensor array. The timing and control circuitry sequentially operates on the rows of the array, resetting and then reading out each row in turn. During the interval between resetting a row and reading it out, the pixels in that row integrate incident light. Exposure is controlled by varying the time interval between reset and readout. Once a row is read out, the column data passes sequentially through the analog signal chain (for offset correction and gain adjustment) and then through the ADC. The ADC output is a 12-bit value for each pixel in the array. The ADC output passes through a digital processing signal chain (for further data path correction and application of digital gain). The sensor also provides an HDR operating mode in which multiple images are combined on-chip to produce a single image with 16-bit values per pixel. A compression mode is also available to transmit the 16-bit pixel values to the host system as 12-bit values with near-zero image quality loss.
