Beschreibung
The AD7989-1/AD7989-5 are 18-bit, successive approximation ADCs that operate from a single supply VDD. These devices incorporate a low power, high speed, 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of CNV, the AD7989-1/AD7989-5 sample the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN− pins, which typically swing from 0 V to VREF in opposite phases. The reference voltage (REF) is supplied externally and can be independent of the supply voltage VDD. Power consumption scales linearly with throughput rate. The AD7989-1/AD7989-5 are SPI-compatible and can daisy-chain several ADCs onto a 3-wire bus using the SDI input. With a separate supply VIO, they are compatible with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V logic. The AD7989-1/AD7989-5 are available in 10-lead MSOP and 10-lead LFCSP packages, and are rated for operation over the −40°C to +85°C temperature range.
