C2000 32-bit microcontrollers are optimized for processing, sensing, and driving to improve the closed-loop performance of real-time control applications such as industrial motor drives, photovoltaic inverters and digital power supplies, electric vehicles and transportation, motor control, and sensing and signal processing. The C2000 series includes advanced performance MCUs and entry-level performance MCUs.

The F2806x series of microcontrollers (MCUs) powers the C28X core and a CLA coupled with highly integrated control peripherals in a device with fewer pins. The code for this family of devices is compatible with legacy code based on C28x, while offering high analog integration.

An internal regulator enables single power rail operation. Improvements have been made to the HRPWM module to provide dual-edge control (frequency modulation). A new analog comparator with a 10-bit internal reference has been added to the device to control ePWM outputs by direct connection. The ADC can perform conversions over a fixed full-scale range of 0V to 3.3V and supports proportional operation of the VREFHI/VREFLO references. The ADC interface has been optimized for low overhead and latency.
