KEMET U2J surface mount capacitors with KONNEKT™ technology are designed for high-efficiency, high-density power applications. KONNEKT uses innovative Transient Liquid Phase Sintering (TLPS) material to create a leadless multi-chip solution. Combined with KEMET's ultra-stable U2J dielectric, KONNEKT enables a low-loss, low-inductance package capable of handling extremely high ripple currents at hundreds of kilohertz. U2J is an exceptionally stable Class I dielectric material with negligible capacitance variation versus voltage, predictable and linear capacitance variation with ambient temperature, and minimal aging effects. Over the temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, capacitance change is limited to -750±120 ppm/°C. U2J with KONNEKT™ technology can also be mounted in the low-loss orientation to further enhance power handling capability. The low-loss orientation reduces ESR and ESL, thereby improving ripple current handling capability.
