Descrizione
NCL30073 is a highly integrated PWM controller that delivers a robust, high-performance LED converter in a compact TSOP-6 package. The controller supports a supply voltage range up to 24V and features a 65kHz switching circuit with peak current mode control. When the voltage on the FB pin drops, the controller enters skip-cycle mode while limiting the peak current.
Over Power Protection (OPP) is a particularly challenging issue, especially when no-load standby requirements drive the converter specifications. ON's proprietary integrated OPP allows you to utilize maximum output power without compromising standby performance using just two external resistors. Overvoltage protection is also integrated on the same pin as well as on the VCC line, providing effective protection against adverse conditions during open-loop operation.
Finally, timer-based short-circuit protection offers an optimal protection solution, enabling precise selection of the protection trigger point without concern for loose coupling between the auxiliary winding and the power winding.
