Beschreibung
The XS™ DrMOS series is Fairchild's next-generation, fully optimized integrated MOSFET plus driver power stage solution for high-current, high-frequency, synchronous buck DC-DC applications. The FDMF6707C integrates a driver IC, two power MOSFETs, and a bootstrap Schottky diode into a thermally enhanced, ultra-compact 6x6 mm PQFN package.
Through the integrated approach, the entire switching power stage is optimized for driver and MOSFET dynamic performance, system inductance, and power MOSFET RDS(ON). The XS™ DrMOS employs Fairchild's high-performance PowerTrench® MOSFET technology, which significantly reduces switching ringing and eliminates snubber circuits in most buck converter applications.
A new driver IC featuring shorter dead time and propagation delay further enhances performance. The thermal warning function indicates potential overtemperature conditions. The FDMF6707C also features skip cycle mode (SMOD) for improved light-load efficiency, and a tri-state 5 V PWM input for compatibility with a wide variety of PWM controllers.
