The RI-23 series are miniature dry reed switches sealed in a gas-filled enclosure. They are single-pole single-throw (SPST) type with normally open contacts, containing two magnetically actuated reeds. The switch is a two-terminal type, operable by electromagnet, permanent magnet, or a combination of both. These devices are suitable for sensors, relays, pulse counters, and similar applications.
