Descrizione
The MIC2214 is a dual High Cap low dropout regulator with an open-drain driver and power-on reset circuit. The first regulator is capable of sourcing 150 mA, while the second regulator can source up to 300 mA and includes a power-on reset function. The open-drain output is capable of sinking 150 mA for LED backlighting applications. Ideal for battery operated applications, the MIC2214 offers 1% accuracy, extremely low dropout voltage (80 mV @ 100 mA), and extremely low ground current, only 48 μA total. Equipped with a TTL-logic-compatible enable pin, the MIC2214 can be put into a zero-off-mode current state, drawing no current when disabled. The MIC2214 is a Advanced Cap design, operating with very small ceramic output capacitors for stability, reducing required board space and component cost. The MIC2214 is available in fixed output voltages in the 10-pin 3 mm × 3 mm MLF leadless package and is also available with adjustable output voltages in the 4 mm × 4 mm 16-pin MLF package.
The MIC2214 is a high performance, low quiescent current power management IC consisting of two High Cap low dropout regulators, a power-on reset (POR) circuit and an open-drain driver. The first regulator is capable of sourcing 150 mA at output voltages from 1.25 V to 5 V. The second regulator is capable of sourcing 300 mA of current at output voltages from 1.25 V to 5 V. The second regulator has a POR circuit that monitors its output voltage and indicates when the output voltage is within 5% of nominal. The POR offers a delay time that is externally programmable with a single capacitor to ground. An open-drain driver completes the power management chipset, offering the capability of driving LEDs for keypad backlighting in applications such as cellphones.
