Opis
The AM26C32 device is a quad differential line receiver for balanced or unbalanced digital data transmission. All four receivers have an enable function, which provides two optional inputs: an active-high input and an active-low input. With three-state outputs, the device can be directly connected to a bus-organized system. The fail-safe design specifies that the output is always high when the input is open-circuited. The AM26C32 device is fabricated using BiCMOS technology, which effectively integrates bipolar transistors and CMOS transistors. Through this technology, both the high-voltage and high-current tolerance characteristics of bipolar transistors and the low-power characteristics of CMOS can be achieved. The power consumption of the device is reduced to about one-fifth of that of the AM26LS32 standard device while still maintaining AC and DC performance.
