Descrizione
The SGM8714A-1 and SGM8714B-1 are single-channel, micropower, small-footprint comparators. They are optimized for low-voltage operation from 1.6V to 5.5V single supply, consuming only 300nA of quiescent current. Both devices are housed in a space-saving 1mm×1mm XTDFN package. This combination of features makes them ideal for smart battery-powered devices. Meanwhile, the SGM8714A-1 and SGM8714B-1 achieve an excellent balance between low power and high speed, with a propagation delay of only 6μs. This enables systems to continuously monitor and respond quickly to fault conditions without excessive battery drain. These devices feature different output structures. The SGM8714A-1 features a push-pull output structure capable of easily driving LED, resistive, or capacitive loads, with milliamp-level current sourcing or sinking capability. The SGM8714B-1 features an open-drain output structure that requires an external pull-up resistor to output VS or a voltage below VS. As a result, it enables differential-to-single-ended signal conversion as well as level shifting. A clamp diode is designed between the OUT pin and the +VS pin to protect the SGM8714A-1 and SGM8714B-1 from damage when the output voltage exceeds the supply voltage. Both the SGM8714A-1 and SGM8714B-1 are available in a green XTDFN-1×1-6L package. They are rated for an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +125℃.
