DK8020AP is a highly integrated quasi-resonant flyback AC-DC power switch IC incorporating a 700V/834mΩ GaN HEMT. It detects the power transistor drain voltage V_D,Λ (overline) and turns on the power transistor when V_D reaches its minimum value, thereby reducing switching losses and improving EMI performance. This IC greatly simplifies the design and manufacturing of flyback AC-DC converters, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring high conversion efficiency and high power density. The DK8020AP features comprehensive protection functions, including output OVP, VCC over/undervoltage protection, OTP, open-loop protection, and output OCP. This product series is available in an ESOP-7 package.
