Descrizione
CA-IS374x is a high-performance quad-channel digital isolator with precise timing characteristics and low power dissipation. When isolating CMOS digital I/O, the CA-IS374x provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions. All device versions feature Schmitt-trigger inputs for high noise immunity. The logic input and output buffers of each isolation channel are separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO2) insulation barrier.
CA-IS3740 has all four channels in the same direction, with output enable on the output side (Side B); CA-IS3741 has three forward and one reverse channel, with output enable on both sides; CA-IS3742 has two forward and two reverse channels, with output enable on both sides. All devices offer a failsafe mode option. If the input-side voltage or signal is lost, devices with suffix L default to a low output, while devices with suffix H default to a high output.
The CA-IS374x provides high isolation capability, helping to prevent noise and surges on data buses or other circuits from reaching the local ground and interfering with or damaging sensitive circuitry. High CMTI capability ensures correct transmission of digital signals. The CA-IS374x is available in a 16-pin narrow-body SOIC package, a 16-pin narrow-body SSOP package, and a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package. All products are rated at 3.75 kVRMS isolation, while wide-body package variants support withstand voltage up to 5 kVRMS.
