PSB/RSB capacitors feature an MKP construction with double-sided metallized current carriers, housed in a box with multiple radial terminals, suitable for snubber and high-pulse applications. Characterized by high current and high frequency capability, with RSB offering a compact footprint. Dielectric is polypropylene; electrodes are vacuum-deposited metal layers; solvent-resistant plastic case with resin sealing (UL 94 V-0), flame-retardant. Construction comprises extended double-sided metallized carrier film with internal series connection and metallized film. Terminals are tinned copper wire (lead-free), available in 2, 4, or 6 terminal configurations. Protection class IP00; proper heat dissipation must be ensured during mounting; minimum recommended spacing between adjacent components ≥ 1/8 of box thickness (dimension B). Compliant with IEC 61071, IEC 60068, and RoHS. Climatic category 40/85/56 (IEC 60068/1), GPD (DIN 40040).
