개요
The device is capable of clamping hazardous high-voltage, short-duration transients — such as those generated by direct or radiated electrostatic discharge — before they reach sensitive components in the circuit design. The clamping response time is virtually instantaneous. As a result, these devices also provide effective protection against ESD or EFT per IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4, or in inductive switching environments and induced RF applications. They also protect other sensitive components against secondary lightning strikes per IEC61000-4-5 and the ratings defined herein. Microsemi offers a wide range of additional TVS products to address higher and lower power requirements as well as specialized applications. RoHS compliant (2002/95/EC), MSL Level 1 (J-STD-020); Automotive Grade compliant — AEC Q101; Bidirectional devices are denoted by the suffix C or CA, and electrical characteristics apply in both directions.
