Beschreibung
Harris ICL7662 is a monolithic high-voltage CMOS power supply circuit with distinct performance advantages over previous devices. The ICL7662 converts positive supply voltages in the input range of +4.5V to +20.0V to negative supply voltages, with complementary output voltage range of -4.5V to -20V. The charge pump and charge storage functions require only 2 non-critical external capacitors. The ICL7662 can also function as a voltage doubler, producing output voltages up to +38.6V with a 20V input. On-chip circuitry includes a series DC power supply regulator, RC oscillator, voltage level translator, and four output power MOS switches. A unique logic element detects the most negative voltage in the device, ensuring that the output N-channel switch source-substrate junctions are not forward biased, thereby guaranteeing latch-up free operation. At no load, with a 15.0V input supply voltage, the oscillator has a nominal oscillation frequency of 10kHz. This frequency can be reduced by adding an external capacitor at the "OSC" terminal, or the oscillator can be driven by an external clock. The "LV" terminal can be grounded to bypass the internal series regulator and improve low-voltage (LV) operation. At medium to high voltages (+10V to +20V), the LV pin should be left floating to prevent device latch-up.
