Descrizione
KP212X is a high-performance primary-side controller delivering high-accuracy constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) output performance, particularly suited for low-power offline charger applications. KP212X also supports quasi-resonant buck-type LED CC/CV output applications — simply short the SEL pin to the GND pin to enable this mode.
In CV output mode, KP212X employs a multi-mode operation combining amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM) control, improving system efficiency and reliability. In CC output mode, the device uses FM control with integrated line voltage and load voltage CC compensation. KP212X operates noise-free while ensuring excellent dynamic performance. The integrated line-loss compensation function enables high-performance CV output.
KP212X integrates multiple protection features: VDD undervoltage lockout (UVLO), VDD overvoltage protection (OVP), cycle-by-cycle overcurrent protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SLP), and VDD clamping.
