TI LMR10510XMFE/NOPB

The LMR10510 regulator is a monolithic, high-frequency PWM step-down DC/DC converter in a 5-pin SOT-23 and 6-pin WSON package. It provides all active functions to deliver local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and accurate regulation in the smallest possible PCB area. The LMR10510 features internal compensation, making it easy to use with minimal external components. The device drives a 1A load using an internal 130mΩ PMOS switch for optimal power density. The control circuit achieves on-times as low as 30ns, enabling excellent high-frequency conversion with a minimum output voltage as low as 0.6V across the full 3V to 5.5V input voltage operating range. The LMR10510 is a constant-frequency PWM step-down regulator IC capable of delivering 1A load current. The regulator's preset switching frequency is 1.6MHz or 3MHz. This high frequency allows the LMR10510 to operate with small surface-mount capacitors and inductors, minimizing the board space required for the DC/DC converter. Despite the high operating frequency, efficiency of up to 93% is readily achievable. An external shutdown function is included with an ultra-low standby current of 30nA. The LMR10510 employs current-mode control and internal compensation to deliver high-performance regulation across a wide range of operating conditions. Additional features include an internal soft-start circuit for inrush current reduction, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, and output overvoltage protection.
