M5KP5.0A - MXL5KP110CA series axial-lead 5000-watt transient voltage suppressors offer a standoff voltage (VWM) selection ranging from 5.0 to 110V. These high-reliability devices are available in both unidirectional and bidirectional versions. RoHS-compliant versions are available. These devices offer various upgrade screening options to enhance reliability per MIL-PRF-19500. They provide protection against secondary effects of lightning strikes per IEC61000-4-5, as well as voltage transients caused by inductive switching environments and RFI. Due to their nearly instantaneous response time, they can also be used for ESD and EFT protection per IEC61000-4-2 and IEC61000-4-4.
