Beschreibung
The R-GAGE sensor transmits a well-defined beam of high-frequency radio waves via a built-in antenna. A portion of the transmitted energy is reflected back to the receiving antenna. Signal processing electronics determine the distance from the sensor to the object based on the time delay of the echo signal. The analog output is scaled across the full sensing range. Discrete outputs are factory-preset to a default distance and can be reconfigured to different distances using the DIP switches on the side of the sensor. The sensor is plug-and-play and operates immediately upon installation. Sensitivity is factory pre-calibrated assuming no obstructions in the sensing zone, and can also be adjusted using the DIP switches.
