Beschreibung
The AT27C256R is a low-power, high-performance 262,144-bit OTP EPROM organized as 32K × 8 bits. It requires only a single 5V supply in normal read mode operation. Any byte can be accessed in less than 45 ns, eliminating the need for speed-reducing wait states in high-performance microprocessor systems. Atmel's scaled CMOS technology delivers low active power consumption and fast programming. Active mode power consumption is typically only 8 mA, with standby mode drawing less than 10 μA. The AT27C256R is available in a variety of industry-standard, JEDEC-approved OTP plastic DIP, PLCC, SOIC, and TSOP packages. All devices feature two-line control (CE, OE), providing designers with flexibility to prevent bus contention. With 32K bytes of storage capacity, the AT27C256R enables reliable firmware storage and allows systems to access data without mass storage media delays. Atmel's 27C256R incorporates additional features to ensure high-quality, efficient production use. The Rapid™ programming algorithm reduces the time required to program the device while guaranteeing reliable programming. Programming time is typically only 100 μs/byte. An integrated product identification code electronically identifies the device and manufacturer. This feature is used by industry-standard programming equipment to select the appropriate programming algorithm and voltage.
