CSA231 is a bidirectional high-precision current sense amplifier. It features an offset voltage of less than 10µV (typ) and a gain error of less than 0.1% (max). The wide input common-mode range of 0V to 76V and 90kHz bandwidth make the CSA231 well-suited for driving various ADCs in multi-channel data acquisition systems. The CSA231 operates over a temperature range of −40°C to 125°C.

The CSA231 current sense amplifier features a 0V to 76V input common-mode range, independent of supply voltage. This capability allows monitoring of battery current down to 0V and enables high-side current sensing at voltages above the supply voltage (VDD). The CSA231 monitors shunt current and amplifies the voltage across the resistor. Current monitoring does not interfere with the ground path of the load under test, making the CSA231 particularly useful in a wide range of high-voltage systems.
