The TRS Thermal Reed Switch is a highly reliable, precision temperature-sensitive switch, ideally suited for energy-saving applications. The screw-mount package of the TRS-P makes it easy to set up in applications — simply thread it into any device requiring temperature detection or over-temperature monitoring. Its unique proprietary design incorporates a magnet and a temperature-sensitive soft ferromagnetic material known as Thermorite. As temperature rises, the magnetic flux density of this material decreases, transitioning to a paramagnetic state at the Curie temperature. These products are also certified by the International Relay Association.
