The AMC1204 and AMC1204B are 1-bit digital output, isolated Δ-Σ (ΔΣ) modulators with clock frequencies up to 20MHz. The AMC1204 and AMC1204B differential inputs connect easily to shunt resistors or other low-level signal sources. An internal reference eliminates the need for external components. When used with an appropriate external digital filter, 14 effective number of bits (ENOB) can be achieved at a data rate of 78kSPS. The modulator operates from a 5V analog supply (AVDD), while the isolated digital interface can be powered from a 3V, 3.3V, or 5V supply (DVDD). The AMC1204 and AMC1204B are available in SOIC-16 (DW) and SOIC-8 (DWV) packages, rated for a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C.
