The MIC22200 is a high-efficiency, 2A integrated switch synchronous buck (step-down) regulator. The MIC22200 switching frequency is programmable from 800kHz to 4MHz, allowing customers to optimize designs for efficiency or minimum size. The regulator achieves up to 95% efficiency over a wide load range, even when switching at 1MHz.

The ultra-high-speed control loop maintains output voltage stability even under the extreme transient load variations commonly found in FPGAs and low-voltage ASICs.

The output voltage can be regulated down to 0.7V to meet all low-voltage power supply requirements.

The MIC22200 offers comprehensive sequencing and tracking options. The EN/DLY pin, used in conjunction with the POR pin, allows multiple outputs to be sequenced in various ways during power-up and power-down. The RC (Ramp Control) pin allows the device to be connected to another device in the MIC22x00 family to maintain output voltages within a specified ∆V during startup.

The MIC22200 is available in a 12-pin 3mm x 3mm DFN package with a junction temperature operating range of -40°C to +125°C.
