Broadcom HCPL-260L/060L/263L/063L are optically coupled gates combining a GaAsP LED with an integrated high-gain photodetector. An enable input allows strobing of the detector. The detector IC output is an open-collector Schottky-clamped transistor. Internal shielding provides a guaranteed common mode transient immunity specification of 15kV/μs at 3.3V.

This unique design delivers maximum AC and DC circuit isolation while achieving LVTTL/LVCMOS compatibility. AC and DC operating parameters are guaranteed over the -40°C to +85°C range, ensuring trouble-free system operation.

These optocouplers are suitable for high-speed logic interfaces and I/O buffering, serving as line receivers in environments where conventional line receivers cannot withstand, and are recommended for applications with extremely high ground or inductive noise.
