KEMET's HiQ CBR automotive RF capacitor series features a copper electrode BME (Base Metal Electrode) system, delivering ultra-low ESR and high Q-factor across VHF, UHF, and microwave frequency bands. The low ESR enables higher RF current handling, making them ideal for applications such as V2X, safety systems, powertrains, and automotive communication systems. CBR series capacitors exhibit no capacitance variation over time or with voltage, and negligible capacitance change with ambient temperature.
